The original version of Assassin's Creed: Black Flag was promised not to be removed from sale

The authors of the remake believe that the game is not intended to replace the original, as it focuses only on expanding Edward's story and gameplay redesigned from scratch.

The original game also has multiplayer (albeit already dead) and an addon about the slave Adewale Freedom Cry.There are no plans to remake it.
