I don't have a significant post for you late Friday night, so I'm just letting you know that I'm going to be playing the Halo remaster remake.Expectations are moderate.Personally, the original Halo didn't mean much to me because I played it late and at the time it seemed outdated and I could barely stand the intro.But I recognize and understand the historical significance.
Therefore, I am more positive here - I am ready to rethink the breakthrough ideas of an ancient game using modern technologies.But I have always been skeptical about Unreal Engine, and I have little faith in Halo Studios - which is the former 343 Industries.
Moreover, in my feed only Vadim from “Gamaga” wrote about the game, and he doesn’t like everything there.He criticizes AI, game design and the same Unreal Engine - everything is broken and blurred.
Reviews on Steam are mixed, but people there often actually want Halo Infinite mechanics in the first game.Maybe it would be cool, but I didn’t count on it.Yes, and it depends on which specific mechanic.But the reuse of assets from Infinite, which the remake is accused of, is also alarming.
