The filming took place in the Xinjiang desert, where the surface temperature reached 5060°C. Director Yuan Hepin demanded that only live of no green screen and a minimum of CGI be filmed.
As a result, every 5 to 10 minutes there are epic shootings with regularly changing weapons, locations and a large number of characters.
From minus 40 minutes, you get to meet the characters and a lot of Chinese humor from the last rich guy or the worst Marvel movies.
By the way, the movie grossed $215 million and became the highest-grossing movie of all time, so there's at least one or two parts planned.
