Liam McIntyre in an early interview talked about working on Logan's character in Marvel's Wolverine.
Insomniac wanted to make Rosomach more grounded and realistic, without excessive multiplicity.
McIntyre was involved not only in voice acting, but also in motion capture. Part of the physical work he did was with stuntman Seth Austin, who previously worked on Spider-Man and Miles Morales.
The game features a relatively young version of Logan, who has lost much of his memory, realizing that something important is hiding in his past, but he doesn't know the source of his own anger and nightmares.
Logan joins Team X along with Mystic, SableZube and Nathaniel Essex.
According to the actor, one of the key themes of the story is Logan's attempt to understand who he is without his fingernails and ability to regenerate.
Anger will also be an important part of the gameplay: the more angry Rosemach is, the harsher the attacks and the bloody events on the screen become.
McIntyre noted that he particularly liked the idea of showing a hero who doesn't consider himself a hero, but still hopes to become someone better.
