In Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons, the developers have decided to abandon the usual quiz markers and waypoint systems. Players are offered to search for the right places on their own based on clues from NPC dialogues. There's a common world map and compass to navigate, and the latter can be completely turned off. Invoke Studios head Dominic Guay explains this by wanting to move away from the approach that literally takes the player by the hand.
